Classic Emachines T3100 Computer System, 1.0 ghz P3 in Shirley, Massachusetts For Sale

Here is a reliable July xxxx vintage Emachines Pentium III that has been refurbished and thoroughly cleaned twice in recent years. It easily fits where space is a premium.
Included in the system is one of the best, reliable monitors of that era, the NEC Multisync XV15, along with a matching white keyboard and a Micro Innovations three button mouse.
When the tower first came my way, it had a lot of scuffing of the paint on the cover. But after careful color matching and spray painting, you have to really look closely to detect any roughing up from the past. The only other case issue involves the lower front cover for the USB and game ports. A piece to one of the door hinges had broken off, but I was able to restore its closing ability with two small sets of Velcro.
For over a year and a half, I used the tower to run broadcast automation around the clock and it did an admirable job. It has a Creative Sound add on card with much better signal to noise ratio than the original on board sound. A larger and much quieter hard drive replaced the original noisy 30 GB disc. After I discontinued its broadcast automation use, the tower was once again cleaned.

The original operating system, Windows ME, is no longer supported by Microsoft. Support for Windows XP is ending on April 8, xxxx, but the hardware can handle an installation of Vista Home Basic, which will probably be supported through xxxx.
